The final Network Building Events

Today marks the official completion of our Erasmus+ project “Supporting Children with Autism through Physical Education.” After an intensive period of international cooperation, learning, testing, sharing and development, the project has been successfully completed.

The final Network Building Events took place across all partner organisations, bringing together educators, specialists, stakeholders and community representatives. During these events, partners shared the Policy Recommendation Report, discussed its relevance, reflected on current educational challenges and highlighted the importance of using the knowledge, experiences and successful practices gained throughout the project to support further development of inclusive education.

The project was also concluded with the final WP5 Evaluation Meeting, during which all partners reviewed the implementation of WP5 activities, shared their experiences and reflected on the results achieved. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss lessons learned, successful practices, organisational growth and the overall impact of the project within each partner institution.

Throughout the project, partners developed and tested practical educational tools, strengthened professional competences, exchanged experiences and explored how innovative solutions, including virtual reality, can meaningfully support educational practice. Particular attention was given to the importance of physical activity and inclusive physical education as an essential part of the overall educational process for autistic learners.

This project has shown that meaningful inclusion requires cooperation between teachers, specialists, families, institutions and decision-makers, as well as appropriate learning environments, practical tools and a strong understanding of individual learners’ needs. Projects like this create growth not only within partner organisations, but also within their professional communities and can contribute to positive change at national level.

Although today marks the formal end of the project, its impact continues through the knowledge, partnerships, resources and experiences created together. The end of the project is not the end of its results – it is the beginning of their continued use, sharing and development.
