Empowerable: Project teams meet in Kaunas, Lithuania for the kick-off meeting

The Erasmus+ project “Supporting Children with Autism through Physical Education” (Project No. 2024-1-LT01-KA220-SCH-000246848) is officially underway!

From October 1 - 3, 2024 representatives from our partner organizations met in Kaunas, Lithuania for the project’s kick-off meeting, marking the start of a collaborative journey toward meaningful change.

 Meeting Highlights:

During this productive meeting, our team established a strong foundation for the project, covering essential topics to guide us forward:

  • We presented the project’s objectives and vision, and each partner introduced their team members, creating a collaborative spirit from the start.

  • Partners reviewed Google Drive, internal communication methods, and signed partnership agreements to ensure smooth communication and coordination.

  • Discussions covered project monitoring, management, and risk assessment, as well as an in-depth look at timelines, milestones, progress reporting, evaluations, and time tracking.

  • We reviewed the project’s budget, cash flow, real spending, and plans for sustainability to secure the project’s long-term impact.

  • The team planned dissemination strategies and reviewed task distribution to maximize our impact and ensure project goals are met.

  • We held a deep discussion on Work Package 2, exploring the methodology and timeline for each activity to support successful implementation.

This meeting was a great start to our journey, setting a clear direction and building a strong partnership committed to supporting children with autism through specialized physical education initiatives.  Stay tuned!
